The NFL has released its 2016 NFL Postseason Media Guide.  The 211-page guide is filled with information and statistics related to the upcoming NFL postseason.  The book is divided into seven sections:

Hey Cool Cats and Kittens!  Football Weblog’s January 2017 Football Calendar is now available — and we’ve changed the format to make it more modern and pleasing to the eye.  I hope you like it!

When I head back to the office on Tuesday, the first thing I’ll do is print this bad boy out and hang it on my cubicle wall.  I think it’s a great way to show my love for the game of football, and it’s my hope that you’ll feel the same way and will find a home to display it as well.

Fantasy football leagues that schedule games in week 17 are pretty rare nowadays, and for good reason.  NFL teams sit too many of their starters this week trying to keep them rested and healthy for their playoff run.  For those leagues that insist on playing fantasy games in week 17, however, I won’t leave you hanging.  Our cheatsheet is there for you.

The NFL is implementing three tweaks to the 2016 Week 17 (January 1, 2017) schedule.  Changes are as follows:

  • Green Bay vs Detroit will now start at 8:30 PM ET instead of 1:00 PM ET.
  • New Orleans vs Atlanta will now begin at 4:25 PM ET instead of 1:00 PM ET.
  • New York Giants vs Washington will now kickoff at 4:25 PM ET instead of 1:00 PM ET.

The NFL announced additional flex scheduling changes, this time for week 15 (Sunday, December 18).  The Cowboys were originally going to host the Bucs at 1:00 PM ET, but the game will now take place that evening beginning at 8:30 PM ET.  Alternatively, the game between the Steelers and Bengals will now be played starting at 1:00 PM ET instead of 8:30 PM ET.  As always, Football Weblog’s One Page Schedules have been updated to reflect these changes.  The links to the schedules are below.
