Adopt-A-Players Finish 2022 Season Strong

 

2021 Adopt-A-Player – RB Will Shipley (Clemson)

In the 2022 Orange Bowl, Clemson was upended 31-14 by Tennessee in Shipley’s final game of the 2022 campaign.  Despite the loss, Shipley turned in a solid performance.  He had 11 carries for 72 yards, and added 21 yards through the air with 4 receptions.

Shipley finished the season with an outstanding 1,182 rushing yards on 204 carries, with an additional 38 catches for 242 yards in the air. Also, Shipley impressively carried the rock across the goal line in all but three of 14 games for a total of 15 touchdowns.

2022 Adopt-A-Player – RB Raleek Brown (USC)

Although Tulane stunned USC by reeling off 16 points in the final four minutes and handed the Trojans a 46-45 loss in the Cotton Bowl, the 2022 Adopt-A-Player, Raleek Brown, finished the season with a nice game. He scampered for 61 yards on six carries with a 39-yard touchdown run in the 2nd quarter and caught two balls for 24 yards.

Brown finished the 2022 season with 227 rushing yards on 42 carries and 175 receiving yards on 16 receptions. He rang up six touchdowns – three through the air and three on the ground.
