Luke Reynolds – Get to Know Him

High School – Lawrence Academy / Cheshire Academy

Luke Reynolds began his high school football career at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts, before transferring to Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut. At Cheshire Academy, he developed into one of the nation’s premier tight end prospects, showcasing excellent hands, physicality, and playmaking ability. As a senior, Reynolds caught 48 passes for 754 yards and nine touchdowns, earned NEPSAC MVP honors, and played in the 2024 All-American Bowl. Rated as a top-100 recruit and one of the elite tight end prospects in the country, he attracted widespread collegiate attention.

Reynolds enrolled early at Penn State University as part of the 2024 recruiting class, joining a tight end room with high expectations. He appeared in all 16 games his freshman season and contributed as a pass-catcher and versatile offensive weapon. Reynolds continued to progress in 2025 with increased playing time and production. Following the 2025 season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to Virginia Tech, where he reunites with former Penn State coaches and is expected to compete for a leading role at tight end.
